If I’m being honest, I’ve been a huge crafting enthusiast since I was very young. I learned how to do all kinds of things using random supplies that could easily be found all over the house and upcycled and that’s how I fell in love with DIY and learned more complicated and specialized techniques. Now that I’m an adult and a parent, I’ve been having a total blast teaching my kids all the easy, fundamental things that I used to love to make so much, using the same basic household things that are still easy to come by! Cardboard toilet paper rolls are a perfect example of what I mean; they’re easy enough for kids to work with but they can be turned into all kinds of characters and things. Cut and paste and paper based crafts have also always been a big hit with my kids, which is why I knew I’d really hit the jackpot when I came up with this adorable paper an toilet roll rocket ship that involves all of those elements!

- Cardboard (orange, red, blue, and white)
- Grey paper
