1. Blueberry Mint Infused Water Recipe
Directions to prepare the blueberry mint-infused water:
This one is sweet with a bit of an earthy flavor thanks to the mint. Start by adding half a cup of blueberries to a pitcher of water. Then bruise the mint and add it to the mix. Let it infuse for at least an hour. If you like to have a strong blueberry flavor, muddle the berries before letting them infuse into the water.
2. Strawberry Basil Infused Water Recipe
- basil leaves
Directions to prepare the strawberry basil-infused water:
The instructions for this recipe are quite similar to those of the blueberry mint infused water. Simply slice 10-12 strawberries and place them in a pitcher of water, then add a handful of bruised basil leaves. The herby basil flavor pairs perfectly with the tart strawberries.
3. Citrus Turmeric Infused Water Recipe
- turmeric powder
Directions to prepare the citrus turmeric-infused water:
Turmeric is a hot spice right now, known for its excellent anti-inflammatory properties. Add a teaspoon of turmeric powder to a pitcher of water and stir thoroughly. Then slice up half of a lemon, a lime and an orange and add them to the mix.
4. Watermelon Lime Infused Water Recipe
Directions to prepare the watermelon lime-infused water:
Watermelon is a quintessential summer fruit, making it the perfect choice for an infused water recipe. Chop it up into half-inch cubes and add them to a pitcher of water. Add some lime slices, and let everything infused for at least an hour, just like the rest of the recipes.
Whether you like to drink water or not, these recipes are sure to make you like it more than you did before. And your kids are certain to love these recipes too. Enjoy!
