Homemade Protein Bars – With Coconut Oil and Almond Butter

Homemade Protein bars are such a versatile snack. They easily tuck into lunch boxes, work as an afternoon pick-me-up.

These bars are no-bake and can be whipped up in just a few minutes.

Ingredients Almond meal Shredded coconut Coconut flour Chia seeds Pinch salt Coconut oil, melted Unsalted almond Butter Maple syrup

Let's make these Protein Bars

Step 1

Line a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the almond meal, shredded coconut, coconut flour, chia seeds, and pinch of salt. Set aside.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, almond butter, and maple syrup.

Step 4

Once combined, stir this into the dry ingredients. You may have to knead the mixture with your hands in order to fully incorporate the wet into the dry.

Step 5

Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread out evenly.

Step 6

Press down with your hands to compact the bars and smooth out the top surface. Be sure to really press the bars down, as this helps the bars keep their shape.
