Steps:

Start by cutting your brass tube in the following sizes approximately 2 1/2 inch, 2 X 2 inch, 1 1/2 inch and finally 1 inch with the help of a tube cutter.  Mark how much area you will want it to be covered with the thread with the help of a sharpie ( I left around 1 1/4 inch free on both the free ends ). Apply a generous amount of glue and place one end of your embroidery thread over it and from there you will have to wound around your brass tube until your marked position. Repeat the steps for the rest of your cut brass tubes. Do keep in the mind the order of your brass tubes for the cascading effect that we are looking for. We need to begin with a lighter shade and end with the darkest color lastly finishing it with a tassel. Now, keep aside your newly wound brass tubes and make a tassel using a 1 1/2 inch tall cardboard. With all the pieces now finished assemble them in the order like so and glue them down to a piece of felt so to hold them together. Insert your chain in the second brass tube and with the help of pliers attach your lobster clasp and jump ring.Diy ombre brass necklace clWhat next, wear your own unique creation on your favorite white tee or dress.
