When it comes to trendy new crafting techniques, one of our favourite things to find fun tutorials for is needle felting. While we do know that needle felting itself is hardly new, its current rise in popularity is certainly a new discovery for us and many young crafters we know, so we’re happy to see more and more people getting involved and learning the skills! The more trendy a technique gets, the more trendy pop culture patterns we always find popping up available to make. That’s why we’ve been browsing movie and TV characters lately!

Check out these 15 awesome character ideas that will help you needle felt your way through your favourite TV shows and movies on your next block of time off.

Are you still on the newer side of needle felting but you’re ready for some character themed things that let you practice adding detail despite working with a simple shape?
